cMyZombiez — How to Mint, Dig and Mutate (Pt.4)
What, How, When, Where, $MIECE + cMyKatz Future Roadmap
We’re now less than a week away from the latest drop in the cMyKatz ecosystem — cMyZombiez. Here’s everything you need to know about the forthcoming drop, including details of how it will work, what you will need, how much it will cost, and when and where it will happen.
Every line of this article is important, so I encourage you to study the details of all of it to help with the full picture and mechanics of the drop.

We will be announcing the drop on Twitter and Discord.
We will first give 24-hours notice, and then a 1-hour notice will come at some point in that window for exactly when the drop will happen.
The total supply of cMyZombiez will be limited to 5444, the number of cMyKatz burned in Phase 1, to be resurrected as Zombiez.
Where Do I Mint?
We will announce the URL for the minting and staking website on Discord and Twitter, so keep your eyes peeled 👀.
The URLs will also be listed in the official #links channel on Discord. We will never DM you directly with the minting or URL details. If you receive a DM about the mint, it is a scam ⛔.
You will no longer be required to mint, stake or claim straight from the contract.
The contract addresses will be published on Discord at the time of the drop.
(A WARNING ❌ — A number of cMyKatz users have been reporting that they are getting a DM from our lead dev InsaneHits, of an offer of a free Kat in exchange for appearing in a YouTube video. This is a scam, please ignore the message and report it. InsaneHits will never DM you first.)
How Do I Mint?
cMyZombiez (Zombiez) and cMyGravez (Gravez) are our next drops after cMyKatz and will introduce THREE new $MIECE utilities into the cMyKatz ecosystem:
- Minting cMyGravez
- Speed-up digging time
- Zombie mutations
- Gravez will the intermediary step, used to mint Zombiez and a Grave will then be burned upon yielding a Zombie.
- When Zombiez & Gravez drop, all Katz holders will have the opportunity to mint a Grave (via the Dapp).
- Once a Grave has been successfully minted the digging process, to unearth a Zombie, will begin. You do not need to unstake your cMyKatz — your Katz can remain staked and hunting for $MIECE.
- Minting, Staking and Claiming will all involve gas, so have some ETH spare for this (the amount of ETH needed will depend on demand and the number of people trying to mint graveyards at once, we cannot predict the cost of gas).
- Gravez will have no hand by default. Once the digging process begins, a hand will appear from the Grave. Hand colour WILL correlate to Zombie colour + Zombie rarity.
The First 1000 Graveyards
To mint one of the first 1000 Gravez all you will need is at least 1 Staked Kat and $MIECE (the Katz utility token).
Each Kat you own (which is staked) will entitle you to 1 Grave. So, for example, if you own 5 Katz you will be allowed to mint a maximum of 5 Gravez.
To keep things fair, and give all Katz holders an opportunity to mint one of the first 1000 Gravez, you will only be able to mint one grave at a time. So, for example, if you own 3 Katz, you will be able to mint 1 grave. Once that is done, you can repeat the process. This is to ensure all holders get an opportunity to mint at least 1 before the first 1000 run out.
Important: I repeat, for the first 1000 Gravez, you can only mint a grave with a staked Kat. Unstaked Katz will not have permission to mint. So if you want to mint Zombiez, and your Katz aren’t staked, go and stake them now!
For the first 1000 graveyards only, a Zombie will dig itself out in 7 days. You can choose to speed the digging process up by spending $MIECE, or you can just wait 7 days. 10 $MIECE will reduce the time taken to dig by 1 day. 20 $MIECE, 2 day reduction, 30 $MIECE 3 day reduction, and so on.
From 1000 Graveyards Onwards
Once 1000 Gravez have been minted, the contract will not check if you own a Kat and all remaining Gravez will only cost $MIECE to mint.
From Gravez #1000–5444 a Zombie will not dig itself out.
To dig for a Zombie, you will need to stake at least 2 cMyZombiez on the graveyard to begin the process of digging. You can again spend $MIECE to help the Zombies dig faster (10 $MIECE will reduce the time taken to dig by 1 day. 20 $MIECE, 2 day reduction, 30 $MIECE 3 day reduction, and so on).
Note: Once a Zombie is staked on a Grave, you cannot withdraw your Zombie from the grave until the digging process is completed.
If you had 4 Zombiez and 2 Gravez, you would be able to dig both simultaneously.
Upon yielding a Zombie, your Grave is burned.
One last note… If you want to sell a Grave, you can. If it has Zombiez staked against it which are digging, the new Grave owner will be able to claim the new Zombie once unearthed. The staked Zombiez will unstakeable by, and return to their original owner after digging.
What are The Costs?
We wanted everyone to have a chance to mint a Zombie, offering priority to Katz holders.
As such, we settled on our pricing structure for the following reasons:
- It will encourage early minting.
- A lower initial price gives more newcomers a better opportunity to still be able to participate.
As Gravez are minted, the price of minting a Grave will slowly increase, further rewarding Katz holders who have been with us since the early days and accrued a lot of $MIECE.
If you do not have enough $MIECE, then it can be purchased out of the community owned Liquidity Pool (The LP is not owned, endorsed, or managed by any of the cMyKatz team — 1 $MIECE 🐭 = 1 $MIECE 🐭).
Mutating
For cMyZombiez, we have created an additional pool of rare mutation traits.
You will be able to mutate your Zombie for 30 $MIECE.
Technically, the token ID of your Zombie will not change, but a random selection of rare mutated traits will be applied to your Zombie.
There will be no limit to the number of times you can mutate your Zombie.
cMyKatz Roadmap
I think it’s important to reiterate that the cMyKatz ecosystem is 100% on-chain. All pixels and metadata are stored on the blockchain and there is no IPFS involved. In addition, the project is completely royalty-free and will stay that way.
Only cMyKatz can and will continue to generate $MIECE. We expect $MIECE demand to gradually increase once people begin minting and digging.
Remember $MIECE is the core utility token that powers everything in the cMyKatz ecosystem.
