Good Guys NFT — The stealth sequel to the Million Dollar Rat ‘Art Heist’
Potentially the most underrated, unknown NFT project in the metaverse 🐀
Ok, I’m slightly bias on this one. It was the first NFT I ever minted and it has yet to mint out (~4300 remain for 0.06 Eth each). BUT, the project teams background and previous roadmap execution should not go unnoticed, and some major drops are coming between now and the end of November.
I’m talking about the GOOD GUYS. The sequel to MILLION DOLLAR RAT ‘Art Heist’.
Million Dollar Rat ‘Art Heist’
Firstly, a bit of background credibility on this project which dropped in May 2021.
In early 2021, deep in the sewers of NY city, the city’s mafioso boss — Mr Ratleone — was burgled and his entire art collection was stolen. With rumours spreading of these lost treasures — the greedy rats scoured to get their paws on what they can — leaving no trash pile unturned.
Referred to as the ‘Art Heist’, it rewarded 3310 token holders with some of the best art giveaways in the NFT world. Including BAYC, Crypto Punks, Cool Cats, Sup Ducks, BAKC, Fvck Crystals and Meebits – and not just one or two of them, but multiples of them – yes, no joke!!
12 draws between mid May and September 2021 saw token holders win multiple high value NFTs. Their is a full history of all of the giveaways over on Discord and on the website under ‘prizes’.
The Sequel… Good Guys
So then comes the Good Guys. 10,000 GOOD GUYS living in Los Ratos — described as a once vibrant art community, now enduring a never-ending hangover. Things took a turn for the worse when the BODEGA “Art & Comics” closed years ago, but luckily for the GOOD GUYS someone is reopening it.
Good Guys still has some of the most impressive generative art I still am yet to experience in the NFT world. This is subjective of course, but if you like comic books, bold story lines and quality art, then this project oozes all of that — you’ll be immediately hooked (!cheese).
I think it’s fair to say, that with the teams previous success and deliverance with Million Dollar Rat, that we should all be excited for what they plan for Good Guys…

The team insist that the NFT space is inclusive and that the community continues to grow.

$CHESOS UTILITY
I’ve done a fair bit of writing about the DeFi aspects of NFTs recently, and their popularity has exploded in the last couple of weeks.
When I minted Good Guys, I didn’t even clock the hint of $CHESOS even though it was staring me right in the face!
Each Good Guy will continuously generate $CHESOS (tokens) for its holder, and this will be used as the utility for the upcoming BODEGA drops.
The project team have hinted at the ability to spend it all at once to get what you want, or save them for something more… 👀

I minted Good Guys because of my inherent love of comics and the artwork. At the time, I understood little about NFT’s and nothing about DeFi mechanics. In a very short space of time, as I help draft roadmaps and write about these mechanics on a daily basis, the Good Guys really do have incredible potential, and I genuinely feel more people should know about them. Mainly because I love them. LawpΞz.
